11.13.2008 - Professional Standard/Smooth Workshops

Professional ballroom dancer Eulia Baranovsky
will be coming to Cornell on Saturday, November 15 to teach. There will be
two lessons open to all.
Saturday, November 15
Appel - 3rd Floor Multipurpose Room
6-7 pm - American Foxtrot
7-8 pm - International Waltz
Lessons are free for club members. For non-members the cost is $10 for one
lesson and $15 for both lessons.

09.03.2008 - Fall Lessons
|
Fall lessons will begin Friday, September 5. There will be two 45 minutes
lessons
each week, one Latin or rhythm dance and one standard or smooth dance.
Each dance series will be three weeks in length. The first two series will be American rumba and American Tango. Details for the rest of the semester will be posted on the class schedule once finaliazed.
Lessons will take place on
Fridays
6:30-8:00 pm
Helen Newman Dance Studio.
Lessons will start promptly at 6:30 so please try to arrive on time.
No experience
or partner is requires for these lessons. We do ask, however that you wear
sensible footwear. No wet shoes and no stiletto heels for the ladies (although
high-heeled dance shoes with heel covers are OK).
